I'd like to share something dear to my heart...children living in abject poverty. Children who feel they've done something wrong to deserve to live in slums or garbage dumps. Here I am holding a little Haitian girl. She lives in Redeption Village in Dominican Republic, a place for displaced Haitians run by New Missions. I've never felt closer to the heart of God, to what really matters in life. My husband and four grown kids have been involved in poverty ministry for over fifteen years. We believe we're saving lives through child sponsorship. Won't you join us?
